Theres the unique opportunity to lead the way in aerospace and defense and contribute to creating a safer and more sustainable world.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•tConduct standard testing procedures on various equipment and validate the results.•tPerform repairs on aviation units in compliance with FAA regulations and in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) requirements.•tDisassemble, clean, and visually inspect parts to identify issues or wear.•tReassemble parts, ensuring all measurements meet specified tolerances and requirements.•tAccurately track and document all activities, maintaining proper control of parts.•tHelp maintain shop compliance with regulatory and quality standards.•tContribute to process improvements aimed at reducing cycle time.•tEnsure strict adherence to quality standards, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.•tApply maintenance manuals to evaluate and determine the acceptability of components.•tRegularly update work order information in the ERP system.•tFollow established procedures, making adjustments as necessary and promptly notifying supervisors; recommend expenditures as needed.•tSafeguard confidential and sensitive information to protect SEDAs reputation and competitive position.•tComply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, actively supporting Safran HSE policies and remaining vigilant for potential hazards when adopting new skills or equipment.•tOther duties may be assigned.Physical Requirements:Shop floor• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.• Noise level in the work environment: Quiet office environment to manufacturing environment requiring hearing protection.

Requirements: 

Education / Experience:•\tHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.•\tTwo (2) or more years of related work experience in electro-mechanical repair, maintenance, or production; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• Basic level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel• Knowledge of 5S, Lean and Kaizen methods is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:•\tProficiency in using production and repair tools, workbenches, instrumentation, and precision measuring skills.•\tAbility to understand and apply both Metric and ASME torque standards, properly use and calibrate torque wrenches, and measure with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and CMMs.•\tFamiliarity with soldering techniques on electronic and electromechanical components.•\tWorking knowledge of FAA regulations, understanding of quality, CMM requirements, and effective documentation practices.•\tAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.•\tStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.•\tFamiliarity with 5S, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.•\tBasic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).•\tConsistent compliance with safety rules and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.•\tAbility to report findings effectively, follow established procedures, and escalate as needed.•\tPositive teamwork attitude, willingness to learn and support colleagues.Leadership/Personal Skills•\tDemonstrates growing autonomy in technical tasks and decision-making.•\tEffective time management, responsiveness, and ability to prioritize tasks.•\tCommitment to accuracy, rigor, and meeting high quality standards.
