Electronic Test Technician

Summary:
- Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components/assemblies Develop and execute test procedures, plans, and documentation Operate/maintain lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters) Record, analyze, and report test data; identify issues and performance concerns Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures/defects Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports; follow safety and ESD protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED 2 4 years experience in circuit identification, troubleshooting, and electrical analysis 1 2 years experience in electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuits, schematics, datasheets, and test documentation Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment in lab/academic settings Proficient in measurement/testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques Clear written/verbal communication; ability to work independently and in teams Experience with automated test systems/scripting (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB) PCB-level debugging, soldering, and rework techniques Knowledge of compliance testing (EMC, safety, thermal) Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and fixtures Understanding of IPC, ISO, and MIL-STD standards Experience reading/working with military specifications and electronics schematics Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
