Elit’Avia, a fully integrated provider of private-aviation solutions, including aircraft management; aircraft charter; sales and acquisitions; and technical oversight services, announces the acquisition of Pioneer Business Services (Pioneer) of Newburgh, NY. Pioneer offers comprehensive services for private aircraft owners and passengers, including end-to-end aircraft management and flexible charter options.

The acquisition entails:

  • additional business aircraft under management
  • continued operations at New York Stewart International Airport (KSFW)
  • renewed focus on U.S.-based aircraft management and charter services
  • and the evolution of the Elit’Avia brand into two separate entities — Elit’Avia Americas and Elit’Avia International.

Going forward, Michel Coulomb will continue to serve as CEO and accountable manager of Elit’Avia International, serving Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, with Kevin Rodgers assuming the role of president of Elit’Avia Americas, serving clients in North and South America.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Rodgers has more than 20 years of business-aviation experience, including the last 14 years as executive vice president of ZenithJet where he served both ZenithJet and Elit’Avia clients. Earlier in his career, he was director of sales at Jet Aviation and vice president of operations at Bombardier Skyjet. Rodgers, in addition, serves as vice chairman of the Georgia Business Aviation Association. He is a licensed pilot and dispatcher.

“We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of Pioneer,” says Kevin Rodgers, president, Elit’Avia Americas. “Drawing on our years of experience and knowledge of the domestic market, we will deliver services that enable our U.S.-based clients to navigate the complexities of private aviation with confidence and peace of mind.”
