Elite Turbine Maintenance Welcomes New Director of Maintenance

Addison-based Elite Turbine Maintenance introduces Carl McDade as its new director of maintenance.

McDade follows the legacy of Ronny Hall, who was DOM at Elite Turbine Maintenance for over ten years and retired in July after a successful career in aviation. Hall plans to spend his retirement traveling and spending time with family and friends. “It’s great knowing that the company is going to be in such capable hands,” he says.

McDade brings over twenty years of experience in corporate aviation to the team. He began his career as an aircraft technician for Alcatel-Lucent’s company, Gulfstream IV. After fourteen years with Lucent, McDade went to work as a tech for Gulfstream Aerospace for one year, then joined Elite Turbine Maintenance as the quality assurance manager. After a brief return to Gulfstream in 2015, McDade has returned to Elite Turbine Maintenance to take on the role of director of maintenance.

Under McDade's leadership, Elite Turbine Maintenance has gained a new direction and vision for the business. The company hopes to capture more business from external customers; much of the work is currently performed on jets managed by its sister company, Aviation Services Elite. McDade plans to expand Elite Turbine Maintenance’s clientele while maintaining dedication to excellence and professionalism. “I’m excited to get going and bring this team together to accomplish all that we can,” says McDade.

Elite Turbine Maintenance is an FAA-certified Part 145 Repair Station (X5ER177Y) that has been serving the Dallas-area aviation community since 1998.  The company offers maintenance repair and a highly experienced team of FAA-certified airframe and powerplant mechanics.
