JDA Regulatory Affairs Training Course

JDA Aviation Technology Solutions (JDA) will hold its one-of-a-kind two-day regulatory affairs training course May 16-17 at the American Airlines Training Center in Ft. Worth, TX. The course will focus on expanding the FAA regulatory affairs knowledge for air carrier, manufacturer and repair station personnel.

The course will be led by former career FAA managers, principal inspectors and legal counsel who will provide recommended practices through real-life examples from their experience with the FAA and as private industry consultants. This highly interactive training will ensure that attendees are knowledgeable of:

  • The FAA Flight Standards organization as well as Flight Standards District Office (FSDO)/Certificate Management Office (CMO) inspector duties, responsibilities, authority, limitations and acceptable conduct.
  • FAA guidance including FAA regulations, handbooks, policies, procedures, websites, and other materials.
  • FAA compliance, investigative and enforcement process, and how to review and respond to an FAA Letter of Investigation (LOI).
  • The importance and methods to document communications with FAA personnel.

"There is no other course that provides the depth and detail of FAA oversight and surveillance authority, processes and inspector responsibilities as well as the resources available to assist operators improve their working relationship with their FAA counterparts says Joe Del Balzo, president and CEO of JDA."

JDA has conducted the course since 2099 to rave reviews. One participant described it as “one of the best training courses I ever attended. I learned more in two days about the FAA and the oversight process than I have during all my years on the job. The course is jam-packed with valuable information.”
