GLOBALJET Services Sadly Announces the Loss of John Rahilly

It is with great sadness that GLOBALJET Services announces the passing of industry leader and fellow instructor, John Rahilly. In the eight years he worked as an integral part of GLOBALJET, John taught, motivated and influenced thousands of students at his leadership, customer service, and professional development courses. His ability to connect with his class, his warm personality and his disarming humor will be greatly missed.

John started his corporate aviation career at Canadair (Bombardier) while in New England. He quickly assumed higher leadership roles within various aviation organizations around the country, eventually becoming president at KC Aviation in Dallas, TX. John would go on to hold VP positions in operations, sales or technical services with several other major aviation businesses, including Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon Jet. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.

John’s legacy of excellence will live on as the Rahilly family has created a scholarship through the NBAA entitled “The John F. Rahilly Memorial Scholarship for Future A&P Technicians.” Donations to the foundation are possible with checks made payable to: NBAA Charities. Enter the title of the scholarship in the memo line: The John F. Rahilly Memorial Scholarship for Future A&P Technicians. Checks should be sent to NBAA using the following address: NBAA, 1200 G St. NW, Suite 1100, Washington, DC 20005.

Everyone at GLOBALJET Services is eternally grateful for John's time with the company and the sharing of his skills and aviation experience with his audience. John touched countless lives during an aviation career spanning over thirty-three years. A celebration of his life and achievements will be held later this year.
