Gulf Coast Avionics Announces Launch of Improved Website

Rick Garcia, president and CEO of Gulf Coast Avionics, announces that the company has gone live with its updated website: www.GCA.aero.

“We have invested a lot of time and effort in not only analyzing how our old website functioned, but we also took an in-depth look at how our visitors’ search and buying habits have evolved over the years,” Garcia says. “All of the end-to-end improvements to the website are the direct result of what that research has shown.

“The bottom line is we want to create the best possible user experience for each and every one of our online customers,” he adds. “Whether they are looking for a handheld VHF radio or a quote for a full-avionics upgrade for their King Air — our goal is to make GCA.aero the simple source for their needs.”

Garcia adds that along with streamlining the entire online experience, GCA took cues from other leading e-commerce retailers to implement a variety of user enhancements. The company also invested heavily in the latest e-commerce platforms from two of online retailing’s most respected providers: NetSuite and Shopify.

“Upgrading with NetSuite and Shopify furthers our commitment to delivering the best overall customer experience in aviation,” Garcia says. “For example, customers now have the capability to check the availability of products in real-time, which will help ensure that they get the products they need when they need them.

“The new site also gives registered customers the ability to request return authorizations directly through their online account,” he adds. “We have eliminated the hassles of having to request a return authorization. While no one likes returns, we believe that an exceptional brand experience doesn’t end at the sale but extends through the entire life of the order.

“Everything we have introduced on our updated website is focused on enhancing our customers’ online experience,” Garcia says. “But as good as the website is today, it’s always going to be improving. We will always be evolving our services to meet the changing needs of our global customer base.”
