Representatives of Hartzell Engine Technologies, LLC (HET) announces that the company has become a member of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

“I can say for everyone at Hartzell Engine Technologies, we are very proud to be a member of this excellent organization,” stated Keith Bagley, president of Hartzell Engine Technologies (HET). “Even with the unfortunate impact of COVID, our team has made amazing strides in positioning HET for the future. Over the past several years, we have successfully completed and integrated a number of key acquisitions into our Montgomery-based facility.”

“To support these product additions, we have made significant improvements in our design and engineering capabilities,” he adds. “In addition, when we completed our recent facility expansion, we also updated our assembly area to improve throughput and support on-time delivery to our dealers and customers.”

“With the business side of our house in order, we felt that now is the perfect time to put HET in the position to become good stewards to the industry that we all love,” Bagley continues. “To me, being a good steward starts with supporting our customers with high-quality products — we’re very good at that. But, going forward, we want to become advocates for our industry and ultimately be actively involved in legislation and initiatives that will shape our collective futures.”

“General aviation isn’t just a job for me, it has become a passion and a significant part of my life. Since joining HET, I have earned my pilot’s license and use our Cirrus aircraft for much of my business travel,” Bagley says. “With the support of Hartzell Engine Technologies, and with the power of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, we can help give back and actively support the next generations of not only GA pilots but also the thousands of people who are lucky enough to make it their careers.”
