Mountain West Helicopters is looking for experienced and qualified applicants for field and hangar maintenance. Qualified applicants need to be able to maintain aircraft in field conditions and perform more extensive maintenance in a hangar during the winter months. The aircraft work locally during the winter months and are involved in aerial fire suppression during the summer. We are looking for applicants who can be USDA/DOI carded in either an AS350, Bell UH-1H, or K-Max. Mountain West Helicopters is willing to provide Manufacturer's training to the right applicants. Crew housing will be provided near our facility when working in the hangar.

Requirements: 
  • A P Certificate (2+ years)
  • Class A CDL (Tank and HazMat endorsements)
  • Previous field experience
  • Willing to travel
  • Must be able to obtain USFS/DOI card for at least one of the aircraft that we operate (Prior carded mechanics are preferred, but not required)
  • Formal training
