Job Description:
- Performs schedule and non-scheduled maintenance on UH-72A Lakota helicopters and other airframes as required.
- Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
- Diagnoses malfunctions or failures and makes adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts and/or components.
- Performs detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
- Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
- Assures that completed work complies with FAA/regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Follows all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.
- Completes forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
- Performs troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent Preferred: Trade schoolExperience:
- Minimum of four (4) years related experience.
- EC145, H145 or UH-72 Experience
Preferred:
- FAA A P License
- EC145 Field Maintenance Course
- Safran Level 1 or Level 2 Completion
Travel Required: 5% Domestic and InternationalCitizenship: US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Read, interpret, and follow written technical data.
- Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
