Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an IA / A P with 5 or more years of experience with GA aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, and Beechcraft single and twin engines. The candidate needs to be a self-starter who is willing and able to perform annual inspections, diagnose, and repair all mechanical issues without supervision. This person will be the lead mechanical technician within a Part 145 organization. The candidate will also assist in Part 135 maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Part 145/135 operations.
  • Chief Inspector will generate, maintain and update Repair Station QC manuals, forms and training manuals.
  • Check the workmanship, material, standards, and procedures of the maintenance activities.
  • Performs inspection of work accomplished by airframe and powerplant technicians.
Requirements: 
  • Must hold a current FAA IA / A P certificate
  • 5+ years of general aviation aircraft maintenance experience
    • Cessna, Piper, and Beechcraft experience preferred
  • Experience in an Inspector Authorization role required
  • Must be able to work in the United States and obtain a Honolulu Airport AOA badge and an airport driverrsquo;s license
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends if needed
