Essential Job Functions Responsibilities

• Perform component part removal of various assemblies, to aid and assist in the repair process by exposing potential hidden damage.
• Write up damage found and review technical data in OEM manuals.
• May perform other duties commonly facilitated in other departments such as components repair, and assembly, e.g. structures, and bonds.

Required Skills:

• Extensive use of hand tools, for teardown of component assemblies.
• Must be able to read basic blueprints.
• Must be able to review and navigate OEM manuals and drawings.
• Must be able to use close tolerance measuring tools (i.e. scales, micrometers, calipers, depth gages, etc.)
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, and lift heavy objects (50lbs.), for extended periods of time.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma, GED equivalent
• Minimum 3 yearsrsquo; experience.
• Experience performing mechanical assembly in an aircraft, automotive, or similar environment is preferred.
• Experience looking up data in drawing and OEM Data.
