Inspection Authorization Renewal Credit Available for the First Time at NBAA-BACE

Business-aircraft maintenance specialists have a new reason to look forward to the inaugural “Maintenance Track” as a part of the education program at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), as they will be eligible to receive inspection authorization (IA) renewal credit by participating in the program.

The five eligible sessions as part of the track are designed to inform the aviation maintenance professional of the latest developments regarding aviation regulations, safety management systems and human factors, and aerospace technologies as implemented in business aircraft. The approved sessions, if attended in their entirety, would provide the needed eight hours of required recurrent training needed for IA currency. Topics including regulatory compliance, human factors and safety management systems, leadership and management, and professional development all will be addressed.

“We’re proud to offer these valuable sessions to the maintenance professionals attending NBAA-BACE,” says Stewart D’Leon, NBAA senior director of environmental and technical operations. “Staying current with complex and frequently changing regulations is a challenge, and we’re excited to launch this program to support our community.”

Topics range from the latest thinking about flying safety, to aircraft transactions in a shifting tax-and-tariff environment, to retaining your most valued workplace team members and much more. To view the full 2025 NBAA-BACE education program, visit https://nbaa25.mapyourshow.com/8_0/explore/session-gallery.cfm.

Many NBAA-BACE educational offerings offer credit toward earning a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) credential or renewal.

Taking place Oct. 14-16, NBAA-BACE is the world’s most powerful business-aviation event of the year, showcasing the industry’s latest innovations and services, and hosting the leaders who are shaping its future.
