Japan Air Commuter Renews Power-by-the-Hour Service with C&L Aerospace

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, renews an agreement with Japan Air Commuter (JAC) to provide power-by-the-hour services for JAC's fleet of Saab 340 aircraft. The multi-year contract includes rotable inventory, landing gear and more.

"I am very pleased to extend our current program with C&L, which brings good qualities and reliabilities to JAC fleets," says Takanobu Kamimura, general manager of JAC. "I believe that our cooperative relationships bring valuable experiences for our customers."

The agreement is a continuation of an original agreement, signed between the two companies in 2016. C&L, headquartered in the U.S.A., is one of the largest Saab 340 MROs in the world and a dominant player in Saab 340 after-market support. Its comprehensive and proven Saab 340 support continue to make it an ideal partner for JAC.

"Working with JAC has been a pleasure," says Jameel Wazir, executive vice president of C&L Aerospace. “Our strong knowledge of the Saab 340 aircraft has helped make this partnership work well for all parties.”
