Duration 6 MONTHSDescription Chipton-Ross is seeking a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Mechanic for an opportunity in Fort Bragg, NC. RESPONSIBILITIES:Servicing of customers' HVAC systems on the job site. Ordering materials, tools and instruments, preparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenance. Completing required paper work timely and accurately. Troubleshooting equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations. Installing, maintaining and repairing electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC control. Practicing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulations. Maintain chillers. Assuring that heating, ventilation and air condition systems are operating in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Servicing water softener and check for proper operation of hot water and steam boilers. Servicing HVAC and exhaust systems, fan blowers, including filters, lubrications, thermostats, and controls for the entire building. Servicing all building components including all physical, structure and mechanical equipment.

Requirements: 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Must be a certificated HVAC technician.Should have a min of 5 years of experience. EDUCATION:Accredited High School Diploma/GED MISCELLANEOUS:Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. WORK HOURS:Full-Time/First ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
