  • Select and position electrodes/anodes, part and assemblies in process tanks to apply plating on metallic components.
  • Be able to hand prep (sand) and mask hardware to ensure plating process meets specification and drawing requirements.
  • Plan proper grouping and positioning of material to assure treatment to specifications.

Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

  • Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
  • Maintains FAA/Military and Production records and inspection forms.
  • May fuel and groom the aircraft in preparation for flight test and/or customer delivery.
  • Receives technical guidance, as required from Supervisor, Engineering, or higher-level technician, with any complex aircraft relevant tasks.
  • Use of hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.

SMT Soldering to IPC and/or J-STD standards. Soldering and Printed Circuit Board assembly working in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment. Use hand tools to build circuit card assemblies. Work using a Microscope utilizing electronic work instructions.

  • Minimum of Three yearsrsquo; experience working with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) material.
  • Minimum of Three yearsrsquo; experience in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 soldering
  • Demonstrated printed circuit knowledge and experience
  • Experienced with working in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment

SHIFT:4/10-2nd Shift.Shift hours are 3:30 PM EST-2:00 AM EST Monday-Thursday with OT on weekends.
