Job requirements: Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires  basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.. This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, as test  equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers. This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.  Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• Current US security clearance at the secret level or higher.Boeing is the worlds largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems.
