This position is responsible for the overall operations of the maintenance department and the airworthiness of the aircraft. The Director of maintenance works to ensure the safety of company aircraft, including but not limited to airworthiness, regulatory compliance, sound maintenance practices, processes and operations.

Housing and commute paid for; schedule of 4 on 3 off - 10-hour shifts. OR if you are interested in relocating to Toledo, OH we offer a monthly housing stipend of $750 instead.
For early entry level A P Mechanics (0-2 years experience) that are willing to relocate to Toledo, OH full-time we will put you up in a hotel for 3 weeks in Toledo, OH.

  • Aircraft Type: Boeing, Metroliner, and LearJet
  • Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, maintenance manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, company policy and procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
  • Communicate as required. to receive and understand work assignments. Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
  • Performs complex tool setup activities (e.g., alignment, leveling).
  • Performs visual inspections on tools using appropriate documentation.
  • Makes major repairs.
  • Manufactures assembly and fabrication tools using various manual and computer controlled machines, hand tools and precision alignment equipment.

Under moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Repair Station requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Become familiar with and follow the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturersrsquo; service bulletins and any other guidelines required to perform assigned work.
  • Lays out, assembles, pre-fits, and bonds a variety of metal, compositor laminate fabrications, assemblies, parts, skins or equipment.
  • Follows engineering and manufacturing specifications and orders to determine parts to be bonded and the temperature and pressure required.
  • Cuts parts or materials to size.

Position Type: Full time contract Duration: 12 months
As an Aircraft Assembly Technician/Avionics Technician you will:

  • Independently perform a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions such as removal and installations of airframes, landing gear, engine components, electrical components, and control systems to assure conformance to procedures, performances and test specifications.

In a team oriented work environment, under minimal supervision, performs a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department.

Qualification Standard Hold a valid FAA Airframe and Power plant Certificate. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards productivity and quality maintenance/inspections. Must hold a high school diploma and be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. A minimum of two yearsrsquo; experience maintaining medium twin engine turbo prop aircraft is required.
