Helimax Aviation, Inc. is seeking a First Mechanic to join the team. The successful candidate will supervise junior Mechanics on their shift and assist fellow team mechanics in all phases of aircraft maintenance and maintenance planning to meet goals and schedule deadlines as required.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform required airframe and powerplant maintenance, avionics service, troubleshooting and/or repairs needed on CORPORATE JETS
  • Ensure all documents are signed off completely, properly and timely in accordance with Repair Station Quality Control Manual.
  • Available for unscheduled overtime on an as-needed basis
  • Airframe and Powerplant license required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, test, or repair avionics equipment. Such as radar, pilot-static tests, radio, navigation systems and prepare and complete required documentation of work performed. Other duties may be assigned to meet operational needs.

  • Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products. Lays out articles, and cuts parts or materials to size.
  • Applies liquid or solid bonding agents.
  • Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycle.

This is an entry-level position in which the individual will be trained in the manufacturing processes of the aircraft. In a team environment, under direct supervision, perform a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform all manner of maintenance on Regional Aircraft in accordance with company procedures, manufactures technical manuals, and Federal Aviation Regulation.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshoot Airframe and Powerplant components.
  • Document all work performed per company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

As a Helicopter Mechanic with the City of Los Angeles, you will inspect, repair, overhaul, service, clean, and return all City-owned helicopters to service, including those operated by the Los Angeles Fire and Police Departments.

Full-time position in Fargo, ND. Wage Based on experience,

Yearly salary range $62,400 - $72,800.

Full-time position in Honolulu, HI.

  • Yearly Salary: $72,800 - $83,200 based on experience.
  • Hours are generally M-F evenings occasional weekends based on business needs.
