The Aircraft Quality Control Inspector/Technical Inspector (General) is responsible for maintaining the Quality Control, Environmental and Safety Programs at the field level in support of assigned aircraft and Support Equipment.

Amentum is seeking a Power Production Mechanic for the Las Vegas, NV area. The Power Production Mechanic provides maintenance, repair and modification of diesel electric generating equipment and related equipment.  Installs, removes, operates, maintains, and repairs electrical power generating and control systems, aircraft arresting systems, and associated equipment.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions. 

Principal Accountabilities:

The Aircraft Mechanic III – CH47 performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance functions including assembly and modification on the assigned aircraft (AH-64), their major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and related systems.(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

The Aircraft Mechanic I (Avionics Mechanic) adjusts, repairs and/or replaces electrical wiring and aircraft system avionics.  Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

The Sheetmetal Mechanic performs, and inspects aviation unit (AVUM), intermediate (AVIM) and depot maintenance on assigned aircraft.(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic 2 performs maintenance and inspects on CH-47 systems maintaining to FAA standards.(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

The CH-47 Aircraft Quality Control Inspector/Technical Inspector CH-47 QC TI is responsible for maintaining the Quality Control, Environmental and Safety Programs at the field level in support of assigned aircraft and Support Equipment.
