Aircraft Maintenance Technicians perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our fleet of cargo aircraft. Encore Air Cargo, a subsidiary of Bemidji Aviation Services, has immediate openings for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians at our Fargo, ND base. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections on Encore Air Cargo's fleet of cargo aircraft including Metroliner III, Cessna 402B, Cessna 404, Beech Queen Air and Beech 99 aircraft
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise on airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems
  • Removal and replacement of defective aircraft parts and testing aircraft systems
  • Offer mechanical support to company aircraft during launch operations
  • Sign off documentation and log entries as required by company policy and FAA regulations
  • Responsible for following company safety policies, security procedures, and regulations

Compensation and BenefitsThe starting pay for this position is $24-$32 per hour, depending on experience. The operational schedule is Monday-Friday with overtime opportunities available, if desired. Requirements: 

Qualifications:

  • FAA A P Certificate required
  • Previous general aviation maintenance experience is preferred
  • Ability to pass a security background check and pre-employment drug test as required by the FAA
  • Possess tools common to the aircraft maintenance technician trade
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member

Physical Demands

  • Ability to routinely lift 75 lbs. with or without accommodation
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces
  • Willingness to work outside in diverse weather conditions
