Amentum is immediately hiring qualified Aircraft Structural Mechanic I’s in support of U.S. Navy Aviation maintenance operations at NAS Oceana Virginia Beach, VA. VFA-106.The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

Definition: This is the entry and first working level for certificated Airframe and Powerplant technicians.

M1 is looking for an Egress Specialist:
• Performs aircraft egress systems repair/maintenance tasks under technical guidance and supervision.
• Performs tasks with minimum supervision.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with senior egress personnel as required.
• Performs maintenance and inspections of aircraft egress systems.

​​Position Summary:The Avionics Technician (F-16 Block 50+) Fabricates, maintains, and tests electronic systems and components. Adjusts, repairs, and modifies systems and components, and replaces malfunctioning equipment as needed.

The LUH72 Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment under the technical direction of an Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic (Senior) or Lead. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required.

The Sheet Metal Technician I is responsible for high proficiency in all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, with minimal supervision.

Aircraft Structures Mechanic III Position Summary
The Aircraft Structures Mechanic III role is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates of Technical or A P schools, as well as mechanics with fewer than five years of heavy aircraft experience.
