Performs administrative duties using computers, and other associated equipment within maintenance control. Schedules and tracks aircraft maintenance actions. Monitors maintenance schedules for accuracy and completion. Provides assistance, guidance, and instruction to employees in Maintenance Control.Possess a high degree of expertise in the control and coordination of aircraft maintenance.

The Maintenance Controller possesses a high degree of expertise in Maintenance Control programs, requirements, directives, and documents in the performance of Safety of Flight, dissemination of maintenance and aircraft priorities and documentation of aircraft maintenance actions.

  • Great opportunity for Sheet Metal mechanics.
  • Contract position 90 day +/-.
  • Attractive hourly rate and specific location given during interview.
  • Rotary Wing experience required with AS332 experience preferred.
  • Other positions available CONUS.

Troubleshoots, repairs, and services aircraft and engine systems. Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. Performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Maintains FAA-required records, manuals, and inspection forms.

The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems to ensure aircraft remains in safe operating condition. Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.

We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented. You will be required to communicate with all levels of employees from our Mechanics to the Program Manager. Work hours will typically be are Monday ndash; Friday, the shift can vary due to the mission requirements. You may need to work weekends and or holidays as the mission requires.

Summary: Performs non-destructive inspection (NDI) of aircraft, engines, support equipment, and components with specialized equipment such as a magnetic particle (portable or stationary), flaw detection units NORTEC 2000D, sonic 1200M, and x-ray equipment (LPX160) for the detection of faults or defects using methods such as eddy current, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic and X-ray
