The successful Aircraft Mechanic-Avionics performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions.

The RADAR Technician (ATCALS Technician Level II) is responsible installing, sustaining, troubleshooting, and repairing standard ground radar and airfield systems and equipment platforms to include- air traffic control, weather, ground aircraft control and warning radar systems; air traffic control radio; meteorological and navigational aid systems.

The C-26 Army Transport Aircraft FSR / Lead Mechanic/ Trainer - oversees, and coordinates established training on behalf of the recently relocated C26 aircraft in Djibouti. Provides organizational training activities to ensure the mechanics, develop and conduct maintenance according to the C-26 OEM maintenance manual.

Performs assembly and fitting of detail parts from various manufacturing processes (i.e. sealant, fasteners, electric harnessing, and hydraulics). Assures parts assembly meets specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:

The C-12/King Air and T-6 (D) Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA AP). Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-12/T-6 aircraft. (*Level of Aircraft Mechanic is based on years of specific C-12/T-6 hands-on AP mechanic experience, AM-1, AM-2 or AM-3).
