Honolulu, Hawaii based airline has a Full time position(s) available for an avionics A&P technician to install, maintain, diagnose, repair, inspect, and test avionics systems and components in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manual or Company policies and procedures efficiently. Must be a self starter and able to work with mininum supervision. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals and understand FAR#8217;s and avionics systems operation. Have the appropriate knowledge and able to operate sophisticated test equipment to perform job requirements.This includes pitot static, electrical,navigation, communication and other tests required to troubleshoot and maintain aircraft avionics systems. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record. Requirements: 

Hold current FAA A&P mechanic certificate.Own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools and be thoroughly familiar with the operation of all tools and equipment, including inspection aids.B737 or Shorts 3-60 Gen Fam course certificate preferred not required.May be required to lift 25-50 lbs. or more. Standing, walking, sitting, bending also required.Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain airport AOA badge. Must be able to pass a DOT drug sreening and 10 year criminal background check.Must be willing to work any and all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.Must have a High school diploma or equivalent and Valid driver#8217;s license.
