A P Mechanics play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of customer aircraft. Yoursquo;ll troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance tasks while working closely with clients to find solutions.
- Assembly Operations: Perform complex assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems such as landing gear, control surfaces, interior panels, galleys, lavatories, doors, and seats.
- Aircraft Systems Knowledge: Utilize in-depth knowledge to troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components, as well as replacing components.
- Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd).
- Performs functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components as well as perform aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair.
- Assesses and documents test or analysis data to show compliance.
The Aircraft Assembler position at our clientacute;s facility involves assembling, fitting, fastening, and installing various aircraft components such as tails, wings, fuselage, bulkheads, stabilizers, landing gear, rigging, control equipment, and heating and ventilating systems
- Apply sealant to surface per specifications.
- Performs COMPLEX production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
- Install various aircraft system components such as panel installs.
- Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals
- Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at on-site and off-site locations
