Responsible to the assigned Lead, Senior Mechanic or Mechanic in the performance of their duties. Performs ground support tasks including fuel and oxygen servicing, aircraft towing, launch and recovery and operation of AGE on the Flight Line. Assists pilots as necessary during launch and recovery.

Under the direction of the Crew Chief, the Crew Lead is responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope. The Crew Lead ensures tasks, within the scope of their normally assigned duties, are performed using established standards of quality and airworthiness. The Crew Lead is responsible to the Accountable Manager for Repair Station Operations conducted under 14 CFR 145.
