Read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation drawings to facilitate relevant system inspections, troubleshooting and installations. Be responsible for full scope of avionics efforts, from drawing review and interface with EE's, to wire marking and wire harness fabrication, through system integrations and troubleshooting on aircraft. System complexities range from standalone, non-federated interfaces to highly complex multi-interfaced integrations. Ensure compliance of aircraft related tasks to FAA requirements (43.13, EWIS etc). Ensure safe, compliant avionics installations are accomplished in accordance with released data.Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels. Ability to meet schedule and budget commitments.. Understand that while traditional systems and documentation mechanisms are in place, strives to utilize its IT infrastructure to the greatest extent possible to automate and minimize mundane tasks, repeatable processes and paper documentation where appropriate, practical and legal. Understanding, buy in and contributions to systemic improvements in how we do our work is expected. Have a forward-looking vision at the capabilities of the organization and seek to improve internal capabilities and qualifications


***THIS POSITION REQUIRES LEARJET EXPERIENCE*** Ten plus years of progressive experience as an Avionics Technician. 5 years of experience specific to supporting FAA Part 21 modification oriented work efforts.Has a FCC General Operators Radio License or is able to attain oneIs comfortable reading wiring diagrams and schematics; often ones that are under development and need relevant, experienced feedback for the Engineering Team.Is experienced working within the constraints of an organizational quality system.Has an A P license, though not required.Will be comfortable working on a wide variety of aircraft in both routine maintenance capacities as well as one of a kind, prototype system integrations. We work on everything that flies; from Cessna 150's to Boeing 777 and Airbus A340's. This position requires Learjet experience.Is comfortable working independently or on a team.Is a self-starter.Is able to travel, sometimes for long durations. Is able to conduct a practical assessment at time of interview of basic AT functions.Experience and ability to troubleshoot systems and a nature that welcomes the challenging of learning new system. Experience with Microsoft O365 tools and utilities
