The SEW Shop Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

An Aircraft Mechanic III (AH-64 Specialty) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.

Essential Responsibilities:

Makes repairs to aircraft following orders of higher grade worker. Removes, cleans, reinstalls, or replaces defective parts, accessories, and components such as worn gaskets, couplings, and fittings; bad actuators, accumulators, gauges, sections of corroded fuel and oil lines, worn cable pulleys, frayed spark plug cables, and burned-out landing lights, using hand tools.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60) performs maintenance on helicopters, excluding repair of systems according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures.

The C-12/King Air Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic AM-3 (FAA A&P) Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-12/King Air 200/350/1900 aircraft.

The Powertrain – Back Shop Mechanic performs and inspects aviation unit (AVUM), intermediate (AVIM) and depot maintenance on assigned aircraft systems. 

The Avionics/Electronics Aircraft Mechanic II is responsible for:

 Description:  Responsible for supporting depot-level modification, upgrade, & test of aircraft sub-systems under the guidance of Lead or Level III Technicians.  Duties may include, but are not limited to, inspecting, testing, modifying, and repairing avionic as well as other electrical systems/sub-systems.

WORK LOCATIONPosition is located OCONUS at Osan AB, South Korea; work is being performed at an aircraft depot facility, including occasional flight line operations, hangar and/or aviation field environment.  Description: Responsible for depot-level modification, upgrade, & test of aircraft sub-systems, ensuring airworthiness.

Evaluator & Estimator Position based on contract award Amentum is hiring an PMI Evaluator & Estimator in Rota, Spain.  Responsible for Evaluation of MH-6 R/S aircraft items (e.g., airframe, power plant, accessories, equipment, equipage, etc.) under specified conditions to verify functional conformance to predetermined requirements IAW applicable directives.
