  • Must be able to perform teardown, inspection, build-up and test of assemblies and sub-assemblies on various components associated with the AH-64D Longbow Apache.
  • Perform all maintenance and repair tasks within the budgeted hours and scheduled time allotted for completion.
  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Provides leadership, technical expertise and guidance while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect free aircraft. Provides superior technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Position Purpose:Provides technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on cable assemblies which includes installing cables, connectors and circuit card assemblies.
  • Ability to work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools.

Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.F-16 production structural component build-up to include- Precision Drilling, Countersinking, Reaming, and installing various fasteners (rivets, Hi-loks, and Huck Bolts)

  • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
  • Lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
  • Adjusts and calibrates systems as required.
