JOB SUMMARY:Individual willprovide knowledge and assistance to maintenance personnel on the T-6A/B/Caircraft basic structure and operating systems, avionics and electricalsystems, engine operations, support equipment, and required maintenance tasks. Field Support Representative (FSR) shall possess the ability to workindependently, without technical guidance, to perform tasks included in the T-6aircraft maintenance manual. FSR shall have sufficient education andmaintenance experience background to perform the duties involved inmaintenance, assembly, operation, repair, test, and related functions of theT-6A/B/C aircraft. FSR should effectively instruct maintenancetechnicians in a structured on-the-job training (OJT) program asnecessary. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provideinstruction, assistance, and on-the-job training in:
  • Operating and maintaining the T-6A/B/Caircraft and its avionics, propulsion, and support equipment systems
  • Resolving T-6A/B/C aircraft equipment orsystem anomalies
  • Performing fault reporting and faultisolation procedures
  • Removing and installing components,demonstrating hands-on training of new tasks
  • Using hand equipment, special tools, andtest equipment
  • Emphasizing safety precautions duringthe operation and maintenance
  • Providing interpretation of technicaldata set forth in Technical Orders
  • ProvideSuggestions for Improvement on additional training for organizationalmaintenance team personnel
  • ProvideSuggestions for Improvement on additional training for organizationalmaintenance team personnel
  • Assist with the changesto operation, maintenance, inspection, and training requirements toimprove system performance/reliability
  • Responsible for maintainingwarehouse, equipment, and tools or process improvements.
  • Act as the Advisory representationto the Contractor’s program management team to make recommendationsconcerning Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Service Instructions(SIs)
  • Assist in monitoringall failures and performing trending and analysis, recommend correctiveactions
  • Responsiblefor validating the best method for accomplishing service instructions, timecompliance technical orders or installing mods or retrofit kits
  • Verify completedmaintenance tasks to ensure accuracy
  • Requirements: 


    • Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Engineering or other aerospace related field
    • Minimum5 years of field maintenance experience on the T-6 platform or ten or moreyears field maintenance experience on other aircraft platforms


    • Ability to providetechnical support on the T-6 platform
    • Ability to read andcomprehend aircraft technical orders, job guides, schematic diagrams,engineering drawings, charts, work instructions and technical publications
    • Significant experiencein the installing, inspection, testing, adjusting, or repairing avionicsequipment, such as radio, and navigation.
    • Physical ability tolift and handle 50 lbs and perform climbing and stooping tasks related tothe job
    • Must have an in-depthknowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight lineoperations
    • Effectiveproblem-solving skills with limited direction
    • Current driver’slicense
    • 10years of directly related experience preferred (Military experience preferred)
    • Five or more yearsleadership experience in aircraft maintenance and or logistics rolepreferred
    • PT6A turbine engineexperience preferred
    • Preferred experience inaircraft Avionics/Electrical experience on Esterline CMC 4000 suites
    • Valid FAA Airframe andPowerplant Certificate is preferred
    • Bilingual in Spanish ispreferred
