- Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
- Communicate as required. to receive and understand work assignments. Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
- Performs complex tool setup activities (e.g., alignment, leveling).
- Performs visual inspections on tools using appropriate documentation.
- Makes major repairs.
- Manufactures assembly and fabrication tools using various manual and computer controlled machines, hand tools and precision alignment equipment.
Under moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Repair Station requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Become familiar with and follow the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturersrsquo; service bulletins and any other guidelines required to perform assigned work.
