JOB SUMMARYThis hourly non-exempt position requires a strong knowledge of aircraft avionics and electronics systems. The job includes varying amounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting and general mechanical applications. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Project Coordinator or Lead in charge of the project.

Avionics Technicians are responsible for aircraft avionics and electronic systems. The job includes parts replacement, repair, electrical troubleshooting and mechanical applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position requires a basic knowledge of electronics and the ability to troubleshoot and repair problems, with direction, to the unit level on avionics systems (i.e. Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot Systems), as well as the aircraft systems.
