Are you ready to join our team?Job Overview:The intern will be heavily working the Finite Element Analysis method using LS-DYNA and Hyperworks. Past experience in these packages is a definite plus. The candidate should :

  • Have had some experience in doing FEA in this or other packages to be considered for the position.
  • Have a good understanding of the mechanical behavior of materials as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • They will be required to write reports and document new methods that will have a chance to publish and develop.
  • Also, a definite plus is the ability to write scripts that can automate the work being done.
  • Requirements: 

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
