The Aircraft Mechanic I (Sheetmetal/Structural Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The Aircraft Mechanic I (Prop Rotor Specialty) repairs, services, and troubleshoots malfunctions on aircraft drive train and rotor systems.

Aircraft Inspector. This position is unique in that it is multi- tiered in skill requirements: i.e.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Bell 407/412 Helicopter Technician reports to the Offsite Maintenance Helicopter Supervisor and is responsible for the scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on two Bell 412 and one 407 helicopters as required in an operational environment; operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned.

Work Performed:

Inspects all types of metal alloy materials, castings, forgings and machined parts for defects, flaws and other internal discontinuities by means of operation of equipment, performance and interpretation by ultrasonic methods.

Determines quality of materials and parts by correlation of flaw indication with actual geometry, size and position.
