Mountain Air Helicopters is seeking a Director of Maintenance. Mountain Air is an FAA part 135 and 133 helicopter air carrier. We operate 3 - AS350B3 helicopters for various federal and commercial clients and a C414A for business use.

The Airframe and Powerplant (A P) Mechanic maintains the airframe and engines of aircraft to meet FAA and Manufacturer standards. The position will support aircraft for utility and powerline work, US Forest Service Contracts, CALFIRE, and other contracts as needed. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and will perform duties of a licensed A P Mechanic on Bell 407 airframes.

Responsible for performing Functional Test Procedure (FTP), Pre and Post Flight inspection, and preparing built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This includes operating, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling.

The Avionics Lead Technician works either as a lead for CE Avionics' In-house Installation and Maintenance Teams at our our base of all operations located at the Orlando Sanford International Airport (KSFB), or as a Mobile Avionics Field Service Technician supporting current customer avionics needs encompassing a 12--mile radius of the airport closest to their Florida residence.

Performs inspections and repairs to various systems and components on the aircraft, including engine runs, engine changes, major and minor aircraft repairs, rigging of aircraft and engine components, troubleshooting and correcting pilot/owner discrepancies.
Will be required to perform in ndash;flight checks or adjustments to aircraft systems.

  • Provide input to program planning, schedules, and maintenance techniques for the Abrams Fleet Vehicles and other tracked/wheeled vehicles
  • Identify technical problems and assist Field Service Representative in performing maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership responsible for maintenance.
