Oversee the quality organization for including Site Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, and Inspectors. Will plan, coordinate and direct quality assurance programs designed to ensure quality of products are consistent with established standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES #183;Formulate and maintain Quality Assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Interpret Quality Assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.·Review all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies andprocedures.·Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.·Prepare and present technical and program information to the management team.·Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.·Lead investigations into customer complaints regarding quality, ensure systems are in place to address customer qualityissues, returns,complaints.·Continuously develop and improve the adequacy of existing Quality Assurance procedures and processes.·Establish, track, analyze, report on key quality metric to meet quality requirements within the contract PMF framework.·Lead, mentor, coach your QA/QC team by promoting a culture of quality awareness.·Maintain organizational certifications, e.g., ISO9000, AS9100,etc.·Manage Continues Improvement projects.·Training of LEAN and Six Sigma to employees.·Work collaborative with Corporate Quality to develop, implement and sustain a quality-based program that meets or exceedsthe company and customer requirements.·Serve as a quality liaison with Corporate Quality and ensure consistent practices and deliverable meet quality standards.·Lead and guide improvement initiatives and make high-value improvements across the program.·Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update the Quality Plan to drive performance using ISO standards across all aspects of the Program.·Develop and implement program-specific process improvement initiatives.·Conduct regular, technical reviews of all ongoing improvement projects and conduct thorough audits of projects in theclosure phase.·Develop, maintain, and analyze program(s)metric.·Direct Quality training and implementation.·Prepare and submit functional area deliverable on schedule in accordance with requirements.·Ensure compliance with ISO standards.·Empower workforce with stop work authority for quality breaches.·Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and provide guidance on related disciplines.·Seek, share and assist in institutionalizing best practices.·Establish and track progress toward meeting thegoals and objectives of process improvement initiatives.·Ensure operational personnel comply with established and applicable policies and procedures.·Conduct audits, inspections to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and implements corrective actions as required.·Coordinate with Corporate Continuous Improvement functions as necessary·Participate in the identification and implementation of all continuous process improvement activities·Position requires a U.S. Security Clearance.·Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Required: #183;B.A/B.S.degree.Preferred: ·Masters Degree in Business Administration or Management.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required: ·Twelve (12) years quality assurance related management and direct supervisory experience in a design, manufacturing or production environment.·Must have an excellent overview of all governing military specifications as well as a broad knowledge of the TO productionprocess from the receipt of the TMCR and source data through printing and distribution.·Must have general knowledge and skills of TO production processes similar to that of writers, editors, illustrators, and other functions.·Must have experience of Quality System, CNAFINST 4790.2-series, OEM Instructions and AS9100C.·An FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A P) License required. Preferred: #183;Experience in negotiation and customer support.·Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.·Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt.
