The Aircraft Mechanic performs Organizational, Intermediate, and limited Depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, routine daily, and periodic servicing, and troubleshooting on legacy F/A-18 (A-D model) aircraft, aircraft systems, components, and equipment.

Modification Electrician/Avionics KC-130J Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals to fabricate and install electrical wiring/harnesses or coaxial cables on aircraft. Installs, tests, and troubleshoots aircraft electrical systems for conformance to specifications.

Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. F-16 Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components.
Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
