CAE is hiring A P Mechanics with a General Aviation background. We are also offering a sign on bonus for $2500 paid on your first paycheck. Some light aircraft maintenance experience or recent A P school grads are encouraged to apply. Tons of room to learn and grow. We are a global company with a small company feel at our Mesa location. 4/10 work schedule We are currently hiring for graveyard shift 5:30pm to 4:00am forthe following schedules Monday-Thursday Position includes base salary plus $1.25 per hour shift differential Tuesday-Friday Position includes base salary plus $1.25 per hour shift differential Wednesday- Saturday Position includes base salary plus $1.25 per hour shift differential Friday-Monday Position includes base salary plus $2.25 per hour shift differential Saturday-Tuesday Position includes base salary plus $2.25 per hour shift differential Sunday-Wednesday Position includes base salary plus $1.25 per hour shift differential We also offer relocation. $2000 for in state. $5000 for out of state.

Requirements: 

Inspects, repairs, and maintains aircraft and components including: engines, wings, fuselage, tail, landing gear, control cables, propeller and fuel system etc. All work is inspected and documented IAW Repair Station Manuals and Processes. Consults aircraft maintenance manuals and manufacturers' manuals for specifications to determine the extent of repair or replacement of part(s). Troubleshoot airframe and engine issues for defects and corrects any problems according to the specifications of the MFG Maintenance Manual.Perform Scheduled inspections on GA type aircraft.Perform engine replacements. Taxi and tug aircraft.Avionics experience on Garmin 1000 systems is highly desired.Adhere to CAE's strong safety policies. This includes wearing proper PPE and reporting safety related incidents.Comply with CAE's repair station quality standards. Training will be provided upon hiring. Work 4 ten-hour shifts. Willing to work overtime upon request. Providing pass downs in our work order system at end of shift if aircraft is not being returned to service by you at the end of your shift. If your skills are highly desired on one of our day shift then that will be considered on interview. 2 years' experience in general aviation preferred:3-6 years Mechanic Experience PreferredStrong organizational and communication skills. Each shift has team of mechanics, supervisor and inspector.Analytical mindset.Able to multi-task and adapt to a changing work environment.Pro-active and results oriented. We want your experience to grow the longer you are here.Experience with Piper single and multi-engine, and also Diamond Aircraft single and multi-engine.Must learn to use company's work order system.
