Employee shall perform and support Corrosion Control and ensure aircraft services are performed IAW governing directives by ensuring all inspection standards are met.
- Inspect components for damage, verify configurations, and determine testing needs.
- Conduct preliminary functional tests and record results to assess part capability.
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect parts for damage, corrosion, and conformity to specifications.
- Evaluate repair or overhaul cost-effectiveness and submit estimates.
- Perform Return to Service process and approve aircraft for return to service in accordance with the applicable regulations as authorized and delegated by the repair station accountable manager.
- Upon A/C arrival, obtain associated documentation, inventory and secure all aircraft documents as required.
- Perform inspection, make adjustment and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft
- Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA/JAA regulations
- Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks
- Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals
- Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at on-site and off-site locations
