Job Requirements:

SUMMARY: The Aircraft Inspector will oversee all assigned production work scopes to ensure all work accomplished is done in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This will be accomplished while working with Program Managers, Leads and Technicians.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Please note: This position will be asked to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas in support of F16 Flight Trainers located at Balad, Iraq.

A leader in primary flight training and one of the largest flight schools in the Northeast, is seeking an A P Mechanic to join their growing Part 145 Repair Station. This opportunity is in Trenton, NJ and comes with exceptional pay, medical benefits, and paid vacation.

Oversees and controls the accomplishment of avionics system modifications and maintenance functions to provide airworthiness upon completion of assigned tasks to customer specifications and FAA standards, in accordance with the Repair Station Manual.

Oversees and controls the continuation of aircraft maintenance functions in the area of responsibility as directed by the Line Program Manager. Work accomplished to provide airworthiness upon completion of the tasks assigned or required by the customer.

Position Purpose:
Under moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Repair Station requirements.

As a Wire Technician you will:
Major purpose:

  • Perform a variety of tasks in production wiring / harness assembly.
  • Product material knowledge includes wires (stranded, solid, shielded), shrink wrap, power cabling, wire ties, connectors, switches, pots, terminals, panels and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Major functions:

Performs structural repair on Legacy and 5th Generation aircraft structures, preventive maintenance, modifications, inspections, and repairs to fixed or rotary wing aircraft, using specialized equipment, in accordance with appropriate federal aviation regulations, manufacturer's recommendations, technical manuals, and/or Government/Industry Standards.
