Requirements:
Job Duties Include:
- Removal and repair/replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions
- Basic repair layouts: properly perform cut outs of damaged areas, look up repairs in SRMs
- Working from SRM repairs, blueprints, SBs, AD notes and engineering work orders
- Install and remove: universal and flush head rivets, hi-locs, cherry-max and cherry-loc rivets, hi-shear fasteners and rivnuts
- Corrosion Control: identify types of corrosion, proper corrosion clean-up, evaluation of corrosion damage, treatment of metal after clean-up, Alodining procedures, priming treated metal surfaces, dissimilar metal protection
- Major SRM structural repairs
- Layout work using bend radius, set back and bend allowance charts,
- Install and/or splice spars, landing gear, trunion changes
- Pressure bulkhead repairs; Keal beam repairs/ removal and reinstall
Mandatory Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in heavy commercial aircraft maintenance; Military experience will be considered
- A P License or specialized training desired
- Must Able to Provide own tools
