The Maintenance Controller is responsible to the Maintenance Control Supervisor for managing mechanical irregularities. Maintenance Control will work with Maintenance Leadership, A P Mechanics, Maintenance Planning, and Flight Control to coordinate the scheduled workload for all maintenance bases.

Requires sufficient working knowledge and understanding in the structural repair and maintenance of airframes.
- Duties include but are not limited to; scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems; piston engine, propeller, airframe flight control, landing gear, troubleshooting systems, sheet metal and composite repair. The aircraft mechanic reports to the Shift Lead Aircraft Mechanic.
- Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements
- Have working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems
- Able to read and understand blueprints and aircraft drawings/Maintenance Manuals and Installation Manuals
- Be able to build and or repair sheet metal structure to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints
