System Safety Engineer #8211; Fort Worth, TX $$ 2000 $$ Sign On Bonus $$Responsibilities: ·Responsiblefor planning, defining and implementing Systems Safety requirements to ensuredesign integrity and safety requirements are in alignment with customerexpectations. ·Theindividual will work as a member of an integrated engineering team to ensureeffective Systems Safety Engineering efforts are conducted throughidentification and analysis of potential hazards from concept definitionthrough development, production and product fielding.·Capableof performing quantitative reliability, maintainability, system fault toleranceassessments, Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA), Reliability GrowthAnalysis, and maintainability timeline evaluation. ·PreliminarySystems Safety Analysis (PSSA) Preliminary Aircraft Safety Assessment (PASA)·SystemsSafety Analysis (SSA) / Aircraft Safety Assessment (ASA)·FunctionalHazard Assessment (FHA)·FailureModes Effects Cause Analysis (FMECA / FMEA)·SafetyAssessment Reports·Tests,Plans, and Reports in accordance with Best Practice, Certification Standardsand other references·CommonCause Analysis (CCA): Common Mode Analysis (CMA), Particular Risk Analysis(PRA), Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA)·Strength-stressand loads analysis; Physics of failure·FaultTree Analysis (FTA)·Faulttolerance/redundancy identification/evaluation in system hardware/ software·Workwith project development to ensure the safe development and implementation ofnew and modified installations.·Workin accordance with and provide guidance to the Integrated Product Teamsregarding safety assessment processes defined in Society of AutomotiveEngineers (SAE) Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761 and 4754A and 14CFR29.1309.·Performthe necessary hazard analysis to identify potentially hazardous conditions andrecommend actions that would contribute to the minimization or prevention ofhazards. ·ManageSystem Safety activities on assigned program IPTs. Interface with the customerand IPT Teammates on safety related issues. Monitor, investigate, and resolveissues relative to System Safety Engineering.
have a solid understanding of the 1309, ARP 4761 and 4754A processes.
with key artifact development including PASA, ASA, AFHA and FTA.
with aircraft Electrical, Propulsion, and/or Avionics Systems
