Ascent Aviation Services continues to grow and are continually looking for motivated and career minded aviation professionals who will support our vision and goals.JOB PURPOSETo perform functions assigned by Supervisor or Director of Facilities Special Projects overseeing the tenants and motel operations. To generate daily reports for management as needed. Makes work orders for motel repairs, coordinates major repairs. On Call as needed for emergencies.Physical Demands: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent reaching above shoulder level. Requires occasional sitting, bending, stooping, climbing, crouching, kneeling and balancing. Requires frequent lifting and carrying weight up to 35 pounds and occasional pushing or pulling weight up to 100 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Equipment Operated: Telephone and computer laptopWork Location: Motel Office and various indoor and outdoor locations throughout the facility.Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, sharp utensils and machines, or liquids, liquid spills on floors. Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, desert wildlife and insects, working around moving machinery.Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, gloves.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Job Functions:Works with Finance in collecting deposits and payments from tenantsCollects and maintains tenant agreementsEnsure tenants are abiding to the tenant agreement guidelines and rulesIssues out keys to rooms for tenantsSchedules motel rooms while checking records for availability.Develops reports as needed by management.Makes work orders for motel repairs, coordinates major repairs.Handles minor repairs, as neededOn Call as needed for motel/dorm emergencies (tenant locked out of room, A/C not working, Power Outage, etc.)Inspects motel/dorm rooms are in compliance, monthly basisMarginal Job Functions:Communicates on the telephone and in-person.Assists in periodic, monthly, and annual inventories.Delivers weekly cash deposits reports to FinancePicks up and delivers mail for motel/dorms.Answers inquiries and assists guests. On call 24/7, as needed.Determines what supplies need to be ordered for Motel and orders through Purchasing DepartmentAssists other Facilities and Maintenance inquiries when required.Ensures that a positive employee relations position is maintained promoting teamwork and cooperation. Ensures that the Company's management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced.Consults with all segments of management responsible for policy or action. Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policy or practices.Ensures optimum performance of the Facilities function. Implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state of the art practices.SMS REQUIREMENTSEmployees are responsible for performing their duties in accordance with company policies and government regulations. These rules are written in the interest of preserving the lives and the resources entrusted to each employee, and when the rules are violated, the risk of a mishap is usually increased. Employees shall participate in safety education programs and train to recognize hazards on the job and how to report them promptly. As a condition of employment, each member of Ascent Aviation agrees to report errors, incidents, and accidents honestly. Any employee who observes an unsafe action or condition should bring it to the attention of supervisors and managers. Certain conditions may allow the employee to easily correct a condition or situation.In all cases, the employee must notify his/her supervisor of any actions taken by the employee. The first employee to observe an accident or incident should take immediate action to alert appropriate responders/supervision and to take reasonable steps to prevent further injury, or damage. Duties not listed within the position description may be required of the employee at the discretion of the department management. Job functions may vary due to irregular working conditions or multiple shift positions
