ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

Inspects components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance to established work instruction, industry standards, drawings, etc., using low / high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools. Will enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems, and work with engineering to report and detail non-conformances.
WORK HOURS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Fabricate, modify, repair electrical/electronic systems, and cable/harnesses. Obtain assistance from higher labor grade Technicians, Lead or Supervision as needed. Use associated equipment and tools to include but not limited to: soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, heat guns, banding equipment and computers.

  • Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.

The primary responsibility for this role is to laser cut metallic and plastic aerospace-grade products in support of internal customers for research and development projects and contracted programs.
