Performs structural and sheet metal repairs and modifications to aircraft, accessories, and associated equipment. Must be knowledgeable with the operation and maintenance of structural metal equipment and machinery. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge and experience to solve structural repair problems.

Basic Function Summary: Performs maintenance to include inspection, operational test, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electrical, avionics, or electronic systems. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other employees as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain assigned aircraft in accordance with Navy, Manufacturer, and Company Instructions.Use provided test equipment and Ground Support Equipment to perform assigned tasks.Read, interpret, and apply instructions from Blueprints, schematics, and other approved data.Assist with ordering parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required.Document work accomplished on

Troubleshoots, repairs, and services aircraft and engine systems. Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. Performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Crestview Aerospace OverviewCrestview Aerospace manufactures complex assemblies and parts for use in various aerospace applications. We offer an integrated manufacturing process that delivers fabricated parts, in-house processing and complex assemblies for both fixed and rotary‐wing aircraft.

Position Overview: Operate, inspect, repair and test Support Equipment (SE), self-propelled and stationary, used to provide ground support to aircraft and aircraft systems.

Airframe Mechanic: As a government contractor, Vertex Aerospace requires all employees to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment in accordance with Executive Order 14042.
