The Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic I, maintenance fabricates, installs and maintains in good repair the sheet-metal equipment and fixtures (such as machine guards, grease pans, shelves, lockers, tanks, ventilators, chutes, ducts, metal roofing) of an establishment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB REQUIREMENTSReports to the Amentum Logistics Manager and is responsible for the daily routine of researching, validating, initiating requisitions and daily correspondence/reports. The Aircraft Mechanic III (UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 and LUH-72) maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Principal Accountabilities:

The Avionics Technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, or repairs avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, navigation, and instrument systems assigned CBP aircraft.
