Flightline Group is looking to add an experienced Airframe and Powerplant licensed aircraft mechanic to our team of dedicated aviation enthusiasts. We are an Authorized Service Center for Piper, Daher-Kodiak, and Cirrus, and are proud to offer exceptional support to the aviation community.
Provides support by installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, post modification testing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft. Assist with flight line maintenance as required. System testing, operational checks, and other avionics system troubleshooting.
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. Heavy Depot level structural repair to include Avionics Modification, Bulkhead repair, and Precision drilling repair of wing attach fittings.
The Avionics Maintenance Technician performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, removal and replacement of aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems using basic hand tools and test equipment to meet manufacturer's specifications, FAR's, industry standards in a safe and organized work area.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.

The Company provides F-18 organizational level (ldquo;Ordquo; Level) maintenance in support of Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX-9). Work is primarily performed at VX-9, Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), China Lake, California 93555.
