JSfirm.com Awards Multiple Scholarships

JSfirm.com announces the names of several deserving recipients who were presented awards or scholarships by the company this spring.

Abbey Hutter, executive director of JSfirm.com, says, “JSfirm.com remains committed to our grassroot efforts by helping future aviators continue to pursue their goals.” She continues, “We are excited to share our most recent recipients within the industry, and congratulate them once again.”

Jensen Dix is the 2023 recipient of the JSfirm.com Airframe and Powerplant Scholarship. Jensen is a current senior at Central Florida Aerospace Academy (CFAA), taking airframe and powerplant classes. Being awarded this scholarship will help her achieve her goal of obtaining an airframe and powerplant license through training at Traviss Career Center.

Clay Wanielista is the 2023 recipient of the JSfrm.com Engineering Scholarship. Clay is a current senior at Central Florida Aerospace Academy (CFAA). Being awarded this scholarship will help him prepare for the future of what he loves to do, designing and planning aircraft designs.

During the 2023 Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC) Conference this past March, Aaron Phillips was awarded the James Rardon Student of the Year Award. Aaron is a current student at Alabama Aviation College.

Also during the ATEC conference, the Ivan D. Livi Aviation Maintenance Educator of the Year award was presented to Richard Johnson, an AMTS instructor from Liberty University.

In April of 2023, during the AMC Competition in Atlanta, GA, JSfirm.com was able to present Brian Cleveland with the ​JSfirm.com Aviation Mechanic Student Award. Brian is a current student at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance-Houston.
